Brooklyn Book Fest
Branding // web // print
This new identity for the Brooklyn Book Festival is based around the idea of interpretive reading. By utilizing counterforms instead letters themselves, the shapes encourage the viewer to read between the lines while acting as a fun graphic that embodies the lively event.
Website & mobile
The website was redesigned to prioritize clarity and consolidate unnecessary points of navigation. More negative space gives breathing room to both web and mobile experiences.
The event poster incorporates proofreader marks to allude to the countless revisions manuscripts go through to become the bestsellers we love today. The graphic is interpreted into a pattern for other merchandise.
